BOR calls it a "racially motivated act of violence against the President," and we're inclined to agree, especially after hearing what the Republican who lynched the chair had to say about the display:.

Interestingly, this isn't even the first time Obama's empty chair has been lynched in recent days. The Virginia lynching is less subtle, depicting a chair strung up in a tree bearing a sign that reads "Nobama.

Now we're not going to make any grandiose and judgmental statements about the entire Republican party, but the provocative displays suggesting that a sitting president be hanged aren't borderline racist, they are full on racist.
