My wife and I had plans for a great evening date, dinner at a restaurant we have never tried and then concert tix afterwards. We searched for about 30 minutes to find a menu that looked good and settled in Washington Platform Saloon. While the service was fine, prompt, and drinks arrived quickly but the food was less than expected. She had the Chicken Pompei and I had the Giovanni seafood and pasta dish.

We also had Oysters on the half shell and fried green tomatoes. We each had salads and she also had the Thia Slaw. The chicken was tough and had gravy instead of the delicate butter and white wine they listed. The fried green tomatoes where too thick and like the Thai slaw-flavorless.

The Oyster and salad where fine, I had cesear and she had mixed but she said the dressing was also bland. The Oysters Regency were amazing! Great Wings with even better flavor. My wife and I had the Buffalo and Big Al sauces. Again, amazing! Will definitely be back! Who knew there were so many ways to prepare chicken wings. My friend, who loves them, was amazed! A fun time. Great food and service. Music was perfect volume so you could actually have a conversation. You could hear the music and still hear each other.
