I trained officers and also employees as a supervisor and was instrumental in writing the by-laws that all employees had to follow, I also escorted patients and families to critical areas from helicopter landings and ambulance drop-offs. Pros working with people that needed my help. Cons doing certain jobs that had to be done concerning expired persons.

Yes There are 3 helpful reviews 3 No. I found it to be a good experience because I felt that I was treated fairly so long as I did my best to represent myself and the company in the most positive light. Being assigned to the security department, there were times that were stressful because of the psych unit. This is not a job for anyone who is not patient and compassionate.

The culture was all inclusive and generally involved all departments working together to achieve a common goal. Pros Exposure to useful contacts. Cons Variable scheduling. Yes There are 2 helpful reviews 2 No. This job had good pay but treated most of their employee's very unfair. The job had good but expensive benefits. Parking situation at this company is a nightmare.

And the pay is grossly under average for someone with the amount of experience I had. They laid me off when Covid first started but told me I would be paid. I was still a new employee at this time and after about 3 weeks I came back to things being even worse so I left a month or so later after finding another job. They told me that my lay off pay was actually my PTO and they used more than I had so I had to pay them back.

You call your employees Heroes. Yet I was treated like I was worthless and told everyone is replaceable. Pros Literally nothing. Cons Literally everything. Yes No There are 1 unhelpful reviews 1. No work life balance. Very high turnover. There have been times where management just walks to the department and tells all the mri techs that the location is closing down today so pack your bags you are out of a job.

Funny how they pride themselves on World class care but care so little about their employees. This has been an awful experience here. You may get a supervisor or manager who has never worked in mri so be prepared for the most awful decisions that will be made for your department and if you work at an out patient center be prepared to mop and sweep your floors and dust because cleaners are not allowed in zone 3 and 40 min time slots are not sufficient to take care of patients they way they should be taken care of.

I know radiology is a mess. Pros Clocking out. Cons No work life balance, poor management, department ran by those who have never worked in MRI. Great opportunity. Overall a great place to work with innovative team members.

However experience varies widely depending on the area you work. I would recommend Cleveland Clinic to everyone. Inequality, horrible pay, unflexible. Unless you are a doctor or a registered nurse with a Bachelors don't work for the Cleveland Clinic.

They are not flexible hour wise and do not care if you have a sick child or family member to take care of they will fire you for missing more than 3 shifts. Pros None. For a hospital it seems really toxic once everyone gets passed the "be nice to the new employee phase" Transporter Former Employee - Cleveland, OH - October 4, You have exactly three sick days a year and are required to use them all at once if you aren't feeling well Your manager will even tell you not to come in so you wont get anyone else sick just to write you up next time for not showing up.

Managers are not great some are okay but its a very watch your back environment. A lot of people will totally smile in your face here and try their best to ruin you behind your back. Its only good if you can keep your head down an work and stay off of peoples radar An promotions were never as plentiful as they seem. More often then not it feels like department purposely hold you back just to keep their metrics up and to make sure they have good staff. Jobs at Cleveland Clinic.

Call Center Support Operator I. Receptionist I. Appointment Center Patient Service Specialist. Patient Van Driver. Could be great if it was better organized. Lots of nice people. Pay fair. Benefits fair. Time off good.

Pros Flexible schedule. Cons Disorganized. Can not even keep travel nurses that make double what staff nurses make. Staff exposed to Covid and TB as well as visitors not monitored and policy on visitors is not enforced. Not a welcoming atmosphere for new hires. Poor coordination and organization of training for new hires. Some have as many as seven preceptors and are thrown into charge nurse position without any training.

Unsafe for staff and patients. Extreme favoritism as well as a we eat our young nurses environment. And they make you pay for parking while paying one of the lowest rates for RNs.

Cons I worked there. Fantastic place to start and retire, very faced paced and learn things every day. Managment very supportive and always happy to help when you need it.
